GM used various colored & styled lock knobs over the years. This style is typical of the late 1960's and early 1970's and is referred to as the ribbed or splined lock knobs due to the vertical groves. Both Die-Cast metal & plastic ones were used and are available. Later model years used a smooth shaft however, for the most part they are all interchangeable.
Please Note: The splined lock knobs have thicker shafts and have larger diameter heads as compared to the smooth style knobs.
